The Conference will be held at the SkyCity Convention Centre in the heart of down town Auckland. A world-class shopping centre, buzzing waterfront precincts lined with restaurants, a vibrant arts and culture scene and harbour adventures right on your doorstep.
In pursuit of the Society's aims to disseminate knowledge and skills and promote discussion on important issues supporting rehabilitation medicine, our theme for the Conference is: "State of Art of Rehabilitation Medicine: North to South, East to West".
We expect around 800 delegates with a wide spectrum of professional backgrounds. This is very much an inter-disciplinary Conference and will attract physicians, surgeons, allied health professionals, speech language therapists, dietitians, social workers, rehabilitation network managers and coordinators, clinical psychologists, researchers, registrars, university lecturers, staff and students combining to share knowledge and contribute to rehabilitation medicine.
The Conference includes invited presentations from renowned international and national speakers, a scientific programme based on peer-reviewed submitted abstracts, expert updates, and debates around current controversies in rehabilitation medicine. Sponsored sessions are available; please refer to the sponsorship prospectus for more information and eligibility.
We recognise the importance for exhibitors to have ready access to delegates and have prioritised this accordingly. The majority of the trade exhibition space will be immediately adjacent to the Conference presentations, with delegates congregating in the display area for catering breaks.
We look forward to your contribution to the 2018 Conference in Auckland New Zealand.
